Next week is going to be “Birthday Party Week” here on Momof6! (cue the balloon drop and confetti…) Whoo Hoo! Over the past few years I’ve shared with you my passion to celebrate my kids’ birthdays with themed at home birthday parties that literally anyone can do. I am not talking about those fancy-shmancy oh-so-pretty parties that look like they’ve been put together by a professional event planner with a generous budget, or by a Mom who worked for 3 weeks straight baking 6 different kinds of dessert and creating decorations and party favors by hand.

I mean… I know my kids would be thrilled with this presentation…. but it involves more work that I am able to commit to. All for something that will be scarfed down in 7 minutes flat. Plus, experience tells me that what truly makes a party memorable is how you spend your time… which means- the games!
So I want to dedicate next week to celebrating the simpler, but hugely fun, at-home birthday party! But before I dig in… I have a few questions that I want to ask you- awesome readers….
- Do you throw at-home birthday parties for your kids? If you don’t- what holds you back…. space constraints, time to plan and execute, the mess, or all of the above?
- What is the hardest part of throwing an at-home party? Planning it? Cleaning up before/after? Handling the rambunctious party guests?
- What is the best themed party you’ve held or taken your child to?
- Is there a party theme that you would like to see covered here on Momof6?
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a little feedback today!
