Mmmm… Nestle’s chocolate chip cookie pie. Two great things put together, chocolate chip cookies…. and pie. Of course, we had to modify it just a little bit…. my hubby prefers a graham cracker crust over a traditional pie crust- so we went with that.
We mixed up the batter, omitting the nuts… because no one in our family likes them in their dessert.
We baked as called for in the recipe, realizing later that it would have worked a bit better if the oven temp had been set at 350 degrees and left to cook for one full hour.
It might have been a bit undercooked in the middle… but that did not stop us from devouring the entire pie after one meal! I don’t mind making another one… practice makes perfect!
