Thank you to Ubisoft for picking me to be a member of the Just Sweat Dream Team and sponsoring this fitness series. Please click here to learn more about Ubisoft. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective. All opinions are my own.
When you make the decision as we have done, to forgo summer camps and activities for our kids in favor of a flexible schedule for two months to do the things that we wish to do as a family…. you run the risk of having your kids spend too much time indoors interacting with electronic devices rather than moving their bodies. So to motivate the kids and I to stay active this summer…. I “auditioned” our family to participate in the Ubisoft’s Just Dance Just Sweat Dream Team Challenge!

Throughout these summer months and even into the fall, the kids and I have committed to using the Just Dance game series for the Wii to help us stay active. I am setting our goal for family exercise at 800 minutes a week (7 of us x 4 days a week x 30 minutes per day)…. but I am secretly hoping that we can push it to 1000 minutes a week once school is out! And to keep us honest, I will be posting updates on our progress to the Momof6 Facebook page, on twitter at @sharonmomof6 and on Pinterest too!
I really hope to inspire others to look at what we are doing and think “Well, if they can do it… so can we!”. I would love it if more families would look at dancing together using Just Dance for the Wii as a great way to spend fun time together as a family AND a great way to keep young bodies healthy too!
So what do YOU think? Does your family love Just Dance for the Wii? And do you think it would be a great way to help you keep fit as a family this summer?
