Just Dance is Our “New Family Game Night”

Just Dance Just Sweat Dream Team

For four months now, our family has been participating in the Just Dance Just Sweat Dream Team Challenge. And while other members taking this challenge have been focused on weight loss, the goal for our family has been to keep us active by enjoying an activity that we can all do together. We’ve taken our Wii and Just Dance games on vacation with us this summer, and I would say that most of us have improved our moves along the way!

But now that the kids are back in school, we are using Just Dance to replace our usual family game night. And what I love is that Steve and I are right in there with the kids, as opposed to sitting on the sidelines watching as we do all weekend long at soccer and football games!

I hope that this video inspires you to try Just Dance with your family!

I was selected and compensated for this opportunity by Clever Girls Collective and Ubisoft. The content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

Ok, I have been totally anti video games in the house but this looks fantastic! I loved watching your family doing an activity together. How fun! They were really in to it! :) Looks like a blast. Hooray for sweet Charlotte being able to dance again. I agree with you often parents become spectators. My Taekwondo instructor always use to say parents sit and watch becoming nothing while their children become something. I don’t want to be that parent. we plan on signing up the entire family for Taekwondo once the boys are old enough.

That is awesome- to do Taekwondo as a family! I will tell you that I was very solid in my conviction that time on video games should be limited- but now I really feel that Just Dance is an exception. It is exercise directed in video form- but it is not at all the same thing as just sitting there playing video games mindlessly for hours. We have so much fun doing it- everyone does it together, and I am telling you- it IS a workout too!

Thanks Amy! But the one that really cracked us up was Spencer! He’s got the moves!
