Announcing….. the Momof6 “Get Your Life Organized” Boot Camp!
For four weeks during the month of October I will post my best tips and strategies on how to get yourself better organized so that you can accomplish what’s important to you. Each week will focus on one organizational challenge.
Week 1: Creating Functional Stations in your Home
so that everything has a place when it enters your homeWeek 2: Establishing Routines
to help you stay organized and prepare yourself for the day or week aheadWeek 3: Calendars and To Do Lists
Week 4: Getting Ahead of the Game
menu planning, grocery planning, after-school charts, and more! How This Boot Camp Works…
On Mondays I will offer ideas and suggestions on how you can organize that particular area of your life. At the end of Monday’s post I will put forth a homework assignment to help you tackle or even just refine that area of personal organization. On Wednesdays I will offer additional “bonus ideas” if you want to take the challenge to the next level- perhaps organize yourself for work, or help to organize the kids. On Wednesdays I will also post a link-up, so that you can share your progress with the challenge- what’s working for you, an area you are struggling in, or what you accomplished on the homework assignment. The link-up will run for 7 days- so you can post your progress anytime…. but if you want to be included in Friday’s round-up…. then consider becoming….

Well then I love that we are tackling that right up front for you! Once you start creating stations in your home and defining a home for everything, that will really get the ball rolling!

Stop it! My home doesn’t always look neat and organized either! Personal organization is more than that… it’s about knowing what you need to get done, focusing on areas that are important to you, and not having to look for things because you can’t find them. It is about that feeling you get when you “have your act together” vs the panic you feel because you aren’t sure what else is falling through the cracks!

I love this idea! As a professional organizer, it’s not really fair for me to partake, but I wanted to extend this to my followers. Hope that is OK.

Of course it is okay Camille! And I would love it if you joined us as a personal organizer too! We can all learn from one another- and I know for sure that I don’t have all the answers! I just love sharing the ones that work for me!
