Get Your Life Organized Boot Camp!

Get Your Life Organized

For two years now, I have been sharing ideas here on Momof6 on ways to get your self, your home, and your family organized. I have talked about what works for me, my own organizing challenges, and shared with you my decluttering projects. But in all this time- I have never pulled it all together in one month-long challenge where I share the best of my ideas in an effort to help you with a personal organization makeover…… until now.

Announcing….. the Momof6 “Get Your Life Organized” Boot Camp!

For four weeks during the month of October I will post my best tips and strategies on how to get yourself better organized so that you can accomplish what’s important to you. Each week will focus on one organizational challenge.

Week 1: Creating Functional Stations in your Home

so that everything has a place when it enters your home

Week 2: Establishing Routines

to help you stay organized and prepare yourself for the day or week ahead

Week 3: Calendars and To Do Lists

Week 4: Getting Ahead of the Game

menu planning, grocery planning, after-school charts, and more!

How This Boot Camp Works…

On Mondays I will offer ideas and suggestions on how you can organize that particular area of your life. At the end of Monday’s post I will put forth a homework assignment to help you tackle or even just refine that area of personal organization. On Wednesdays I will offer additional “bonus ideas” if you want to take the challenge to the next level- perhaps organize yourself for work, or help to organize the kids. On Wednesdays I will also post a link-up, so that you can share your progress with the challenge- what’s working for you, an area you are struggling in, or what you accomplished on the homework assignment. The link-up will run for 7 days- so you can post your progress anytime…. but if you want to be included in Friday’s round-up…. then consider becoming….

A “Get Your Life Organized” Boot Camp Blogger!

If you are a blogger who would like to take the challenge, try to do the homework and write a blog post about your experience, then sign up to become one of the Boot Camp Bloggers and inspire others with your journey to improved personal organization! Every blogger who signs up to blog about the challenge will be featured in the Friday round-up post….. so come on- sign up! And get your life organized!
It all starts right here- next Monday! So… who’s with me?

Well then I love that we are tackling that right up front for you! Once you start creating stations in your home and defining a home for everything, that will really get the ball rolling!

Stop it! My home doesn’t always look neat and organized either! Personal organization is more than that… it’s about knowing what you need to get done, focusing on areas that are important to you, and not having to look for things because you can’t find them. It is about that feeling you get when you “have your act together” vs the panic you feel because you aren’t sure what else is falling through the cracks!

I love this idea! As a professional organizer, it’s not really fair for me to partake, but I wanted to extend this to my followers. Hope that is OK.

Of course it is okay Camille! And I would love it if you joined us as a personal organizer too! We can all learn from one another- and I know for sure that I don’t have all the answers! I just love sharing the ones that work for me!
