Holiday Hosting…. with a Twist

Holiday Hosting

I would like to thank Hampton Inn and MomTrends for sponsoring this post.

Normally, I LOVE hosting our out-of-town relatives at our home for the holidays. I love it when everyone wakes up at the same place, comes downstairs with bed-head and bathrobes to gather around the breakfast table sipping coffee or tea and munching on some homemade cinnamon rolls (recipe to follow next week!) while catching up on all that is going on in our busy lives. And I love that no one needs to rush anywhere else after dinner, and they can run upstairs, put on their jammies or comfy clothes and then gather around the fire to sip wine and tell stories. Truly- if I could- I would have everyone stay right at our house during the holidays!

But sometimes- you just can’t host everyone at your home. Like the years we’ve brought home a new baby right before Christmas. As much as your family members adore you and their new little one…. not everyone wants to be up with a screaming baby all night long! And new parents need some personal space too!

And other times…. maybe your home itself can’t handle the extra visitors. Like the year we were renovating our house, and were already “condensed down” into living in just one bedroom, one bathroom (for 5 people) and only part of a kitchen! Not too guest-friendly! Or maybe you are doing what we’re doing this holiday- boxing up your entire lives for a move across town! Again…. not a guest-friendly situation!

Luckily- there is a solution that works for everyone….. a stay at a nearby Hampton Inn!

With more than 1,900 locations, Hampton is the perfect place to stay no matter where your guests may be traveling from. Hampton Inns offer a free hot-breakfast that includes fresh-baked waffles, and also provides free internet access in all guest rooms- so teens can stay connected with friends back at home (and never have to miss an update on Instagram!). Your guests can stay nearby, and get a good night’s sleep which makes your holiday visit so much nicer for everyone!

We love Hampton Inns! We always stay there when traveling. I love their comfy, fluffy, oh-so-soft bedding and we all love their free breakfasts. My in-laws are coming to visit us soon, and since our home doesn’t fit house guests, we’d LOVE for them have a Hampton Inn experience!

This would be a wonderful getaway stay for my hubby and I that have yet to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary this past November. With all the holidays and busyness we did not get a chance to get away and spend some time connecting. It would be a much needed and much appreciated!
