Tuesday was a bit of a surprise around here…. they had forecasted an inch or two of snow- but we were surprised to wake up and find that it was already snowing steadily at 6am! So before the kids even headed onto the bus to school, we had already received a message from the district stating that we would have an early dismissal. (Thank goodness…. I mean these kids needed a break after being back in school for one whole day since Thanksgiving Break… especially when we are already facing down a 1/2 day on Friday for parent-teacher conferences!) But a nice little snowfall and some Christmas music put me in the mood to start decorating our home for the holidays! So today I present to you The 10 Best Free Christmas Subway Art Printables! (Okay, maybe a few more than 10…. I didn’t think you would mind!)
I love these brightly colored prints in our kitchen. Who says that Christmas art should only be red and green?

Our family room mantle proudly displays our collection of nutcrackers every Christmas. But this year I added a new element- a banner that shows off all of our family Christmas cards since 2001! (Tomorrow I’ll give you the details on how I created this!)

I loved using my glass snowmen that I purchased in Traverse City many years ago, to decorate my dining room mantle….

I got a little “crafty” with my Christmas decor by wrapping pillar candles in scrapbook paper (I printed it at home using free digital paper file that I found via Pinterest!) and tying them with a ribbon or red raffia. I love how they turned out!

I love all of your Subway Art Sharon! It always looks so nice….what kind of printer do you have? Mine just went kaput and I could use a decent one. I think I’d like to use Subway Art in my daughters room – she’s all about the holiday decor and changing up her decor – she would LOVE this concept. I’ll have to get her some framed to change out art regularly.

I have an Epson Stylus color printer that is about 6 years old… But still works great. But I only use it for color printing… I have an HP Laser Jet that I use as my “powerhouse” black and white printer. It’s leftover from when I used to have a corporate job but worked at home three days a week.

Love it! When I was tidying up the living room this morning, I looked at the 2 pieces on my mantel and wondered when you would share more great subway art. No waiting! Whew!
Did you try resizing the art to 4 x 6? I think I want to put some smaller pieces in my kitchen. Last time, I couldn’t get it to downsize properly in Photoshop Elements.

It depends on the printable…. Some size well to 4×6 and others I mount on a piece of scrapbook paper to add a nice background and fit the frame better. Only one of mine is a 4×6 in this collection…. The one about mistletoe…
Thanks for sharing this! I am going to hang them up around the house. Love it. I’ll make sure I share it on my blog too (Couponing 4 a Difference)
Thanks!
