7 Great Ways to Celebrate Valentine’s Day with Your Family! (Links to Love)

Most years my family spends Valentine’s Day at home… but that doesn’t mean it just needs to be a regular dinner like every other night! It is actually fun to plan a special evening in with my family- even when Valentine’s Day happens right in the middle of a school week. So here are 7 ideas that I have my eye on this year….

How awesome is this idea to make candles for our Valentine’s table out of clementines and olive oil? I love this inspiration from Ellie Moon!

And my kids would get a huge kick out of me creating this tabletop “Love” sign made from our silverware! From Digs Digs.

Now I am not sure what I plan to serve this year…. this Shrimp Scampi from The Barefoot Contessa (courtesy of the Food Network) is one idea….

Or possibly steaks made on the stovetop and finished in the oven from Lauren’s Latest would be yummy too. (I certainly can’t grill right now with 18″ of new snow on our back deck!)

Of course dessert is always a priority in our house! These adorable Valentine’s cupcakes from Hoosier Homemade would be a great finish to our special dinner.

Then again, so would these chocolate filled raspberries from Saucy Sprinkles.

But I know my kids would absolutely go crazy over these heart shaped churros from Girl Meets Sugar!
