Now that the kids are out of school, I am keeping my eye out for some cool crafts and activities that we can do together…. here’s a few that I’d like to try:
Cool Things to Do:
I love these monogrammed keychains that would look great on the kids backpacks. And they are made with a new resin product that you paint onto the cardboard letters after your Mod Podge them. Thanks for the idea Christine and Co!
I can’t wait to try microwaving bars of Ivory soap to make soap clouds! I had never heard of this before, but was glad that I found this idea on Our Best Bites!
Great Recipe to Try:
I am planning on nominating an “assistant chef of the day” many times throughout the summer so that I make time to work independently with each child to build their cooking skills. This would be a fun recipe to try with one of my salad-loving kids. This Buffalo Chicken Salad looks just like my favorite dish at Chilis- and I know my kids would love using the dressing and hot sauce in squeeze bottles to create this beautiful plate! Thanks Frilly Details!
A Great Idea for Anyone Who Will Be Traveling this Summer…
I love this idea of recycling wine bottles to use as plant waterers to take care of your plants while you are off traveling! Thanks Lettuce Share for this idea! But hmmm…. where will I ever find some empty wine bottles? (ha!)
