Even though my kids still have three weeks left of school, the beautiful warm days are definitely here and the kids are so excited about the start of summer! So I thought I would share a few ideas with you that are prefect for kicking off one terrific summer!

And speaking of watermelon…. I love the idea of this beautiful watermelon cake! I am not sure that I would actually go as far as Robin did from Bird on a Cake and actually make mine watermelon-flavored…. I think I would be happier with plain-old-regular white cake that just looks the part!
